Closing ceremony of the 5th Fine Arts Creation Camp on the theme "People's Police forget themselves for the country, serve the people"

On the afternoon of November 19, in Ha Long city, the Department of Party and Political Affairs, Ministry of Public Security coordinated with Quang Ninh Provincial Police to organize the Closing Ceremony of the 5th Fine Arts Creation Camp on the theme "People's Public Security forgets itself for the country, serves the people" towards the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security tradition day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025).

The 5th Fine Arts Creation Camp "For National Security and Peaceful Life" - 2024 is one of the practical cultural activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Public Security (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025) and the summary of 50 years of Vietnamese literature and art after the country's reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). The creation camp is a useful activity for artists to have more documents and images about the People's Public Security force, have more materials to create paintings with ideological and artistic value, and to propagate the beautiful image of the People's Public Security soldier.

After widely announcing the plan and regulations for organizing the Creative Camp, the Organizing Committee received the application and invited 45 artists who are members of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association inside and outside the Public Security Forces to participate in the Creative Camp. After the Opening Ceremony held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Public Security, Hanoi on November 6, 2024, the Organizing Committee of the Creative Camp organized a field trip for the 45 artists to visit the grassroots units, typical in the emulation movement "For National Security" of the Public Security of Son La, Hoa Binh, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh provinces from November 7 to November 19, 2024; visit a number of historical - cultural relics and places marking local events and historical milestones.

The actual infiltration activity was not long, but the artists had the opportunity to directly interact and exchange to better understand the difficulties, hardships, dedication and sacrifices in carrying out the tasks of protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety, fighting against crime, and the movement "All people protect national security". The artists promptly recorded hundreds of rich practical sketches about the life, activities, work and combat of police officers and soldiers.

Closing speech, Major General Nguyen Cong Bay, Deputy Director of the Department of Party and Political Work, Ministry of Public Security acknowledged and thanked the artists who did not hesitate to face difficulties and hardships, actively responded to participate in the Fine Arts Creation Camp of the Ministry of Public Security, and at the same time hoped to receive paintings about the People's Public Security soldiers with quality in both ideology and art. These will be meaningful and practical art products to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection. He also believed that through this creation camp, many outstanding paintings will be selected by the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, and exhibited at important political events of the Public Security force in 2025.
