The 16th Vietnam Journalists Association Cup Table Tennis Tournament - 2023 is organized by the Vietnam Journalists Association in coordination with the Hanoi People's Committee to promote the sports movement in the press, contributing to improving the health of journalists nationwide; enhancing exchanges and mutual understanding, and discovering excellent players among journalists.
The tournament gathered nearly 200 athletes from 40 press agencies and journalist associations nationwide, competing in 14 events, including: Men's team; women's team; men's singles aged 45 and over; men's singles under 45; women's singles aged 45 and over; women's singles under 45; men's singles with leaders and women's singles with leaders; men's doubles; women's doubles; mixed doubles aged 45 and over; mixed doubles under 45; men's doubles with leaders and women's doubles with leaders...
At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded 14 sets of medals in 14 competition events. Including:

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association, Head of the Organizing Committee of the 16th Vietnam Journalists Association Cup Table Tennis Tournament - 2023 Nguyen Duc Loi shared that in order to have a truly quality and prestigious tournament, commensurate with the progress after 15 times of organizing the tournament, in the condition of both ensuring the implementation of professional tasks and actively responding to the Association's activities, the Association of Journalists at all levels and press agencies have always paid attention to encouraging and directing the vibrant table tennis movement from the grassroots. Since then, the passion for table tennis of journalists and members has been further strengthened. Many new faces, young players competing with experienced players, many times winners before, have created the attraction of the tournament. The athletes have convincingly conquered the peak of the tournament in the love and admiration of their comrades and colleagues.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Loi expressed his belief that the tournament will motivate journalists to love their jobs more and strive to fulfill their political tasks and responsibilities to society.
