On the afternoon of January 7, Nguyen Van Cu Cadre Training School coordinated with the National Academy of Public Administration to organize the closing ceremony of the Training course for senior specialist civil servants and equivalent, course 24/2024. Attending the ceremony were Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quoc Suu, Deputy Director of the National Academy of Public Administration. On the side of Quang Ninh province, there were comrades: Vu Van Dien, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Le Van Anh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.
The objective of the training course is to supplement and improve knowledge of state management and develop corresponding skills in performing assigned tasks and powers of civil servants at senior specialist level and equivalent; standardize the conditions and standards for leadership and management positions; meet the requirements of job positions according to regulations; contribute to building a team of cadres, civil servants and public employees with moral qualities, political courage, capacity and professionalism; dedicated to serving the Fatherland and people; meeting the requirements and tasks in the new period.
The 24th training course for civil servants at senior specialist level and equivalent will start on August 17, 2024 with 48 students who are officials, civil servants and public employees of Quang Ninh province.
During the entire course, the students were introduced to 27 topics and 6 reporting topics, such as: Controlling the implementation of state power in Vietnam today; Development trends of Vietnamese Socialist law; Public service culture and public service responsibilities; National digital transformation management; National financial security; Public-private partnership in public service provision; Inter-sectoral and inter-regional management; Emergency management skills; Circular economy and the role of the State; Analytical thinking and systems thinking skills... During the course, the students also took 2 multiple-choice tests, wrote a project according to regulations and organized field research trips.
In particular, the training course took place in a special context, Typhoon No. 3 Yagi made landfall in September 2024, causing extremely heavy damage to Quang Ninh province. The trainees were provincial leaders, departments, and branches. Despite having to deal with a huge amount of work to quickly overcome the consequences of the storm and bring people's lives back to normal, they still made efforts and responsibilities to complete the course program on time. During the learning process, there was always interaction and active exchange between lecturers and trainees, contributing to improving the quality of teaching content.
At the end of the course, 100% of students achieved academic results of Good or higher, and were awarded a certificate of completion by the Director of the National Academy of Public Administration.
