Promoting the responsibility of cadres and party members in protecting the Party's ideological foundation

Every cadre and party member must always be aware of and uphold their responsibility in protecting the Party's ideological foundation, because the honor and prestige of the Party cannot be separated from the honor and prestige of each cadre and party member.

In the new context, to effectively carry out the task of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting to prevent and refute false and hostile arguments, promoting the sense of responsibility of cadres and party members is extremely important. For each cadre and party member, protecting the Party's ideological foundation means speaking, writing and acting in accordance with the Party's resolutions, guidelines, and policies and laws of the State. This is a very important requirement and each cadre and party member must clearly demonstrate a sense of responsibility in their work, activities and use of cyberspace...

In daily work and life, when interacting with people and all sectors of society, cadres and party members cannot help but hear "praise, criticism" or contributions to the leadership of the Party, the management and operation of society by the State, agencies and units. There are correct compliments, criticisms or suggestions, criticisms that need to be "seriously" listened to in order to make recommendations to higher levels to correct and improve. However, there are also criticisms and refutations with wrong, hostile, and anti-Party, State, and regime arguments... As cadres and party members, we need to look at the "nature" of each case correctly to oppose, refute, and fight against the wrong arguments of hostile individuals and forces.

In recent times, there have been a number of individuals posting, sharing, and commenting on cyberspace with one-sided, inaccurate, unverified information or information about incidents that authorities have not yet reached an official conclusion on, leading to confusion and mixed reactions in public opinion, creating opportunities for hostile forces and reactionary, politically extremist elements to propagate distortions and sabotage, causing political, economic and social instability. Hostile, reactionary, and politically opportunistic forces are using cyberspace to directly sabotage, expand their influence, and promote Western cultural "values". They set up fake accounts and websites of Party and State leaders, local leaders, and prestigious people to spread information that sows doubt in society, especially by being "ambiguous" about sensitive issues, inciting and enticing a segment of ignorant people to illegally gather, protest, disrupt security and order, and commit illegal acts.

To effectively prevent and stop the impact of bad and toxic information on cyberspace, contributing to protecting the Party's ideological foundation, each cadre and party member must truly be a "soldier" on the ideological and cultural front. To do so, first of all, each cadre and party member must constantly study and practice political mettle, creating for themselves a "suit of armor" strong enough to not be shaken by distorted arguments. At the same time, it is necessary to be clear-headed, sensitive, and promptly detect and fight against false and hostile arguments and toxic information flows, even from the smallest manifestations on cyberspace. Specifically, cadres and party members need to closely follow the situation, grasp the thoughts and public opinions in society to promptly provide official information, orient public opinion, regularly share good information, spread examples of good people and good deeds to "use beauty to eliminate ugliness", respond quickly, flexibly, share, and explain to the people to understand the true nature of the problem, and be aware of the tricks, plots, and schemes of hostile forces.

In the past time, the Propaganda Department, Political School, Binh Thuan Newspaper, Provincial Radio and Television Station, Steering Committee 35-16 of districts, towns, cities, and affiliated Party Committees have done a good job of advising and assisting the Provincial Party Committee and affiliated Party Committees to strengthen leadership, direction, thoroughly grasp and seriously implement Resolution No. 35 of the 12th Politburo and related resolutions, directives and conclusions of the Central Committee and the Provincial Party Committee in leading and directing the implementation of political tasks. Proactively and regularly grasp the ideological situation and public opinion, promptly inform and orient propaganda among cadres, party members and people before important events of the country and the province, on complicated and sensitive cases. Promptly detect and strictly handle acts of writing, posting and disseminating false information, circulating anonymous letters with slanderous and distorted nature, causing public confusion and loss of people's trust. At the same time, strengthen education and management of cadres and party members to raise awareness and responsibility in complying with Party discipline and using the internet and social networks, actively fight and refute bad and toxic information, promote activities in both "building" and "fighting" aspects. Focus on propagating the achievements of socio-economic development of the country and the province; good people and good deeds; the beauty of the homeland, people, and cultural identity of ethnic groups in Binh Thuan province.

Respond to and participate in political contests, increase writing of news and articles on protecting the Party's foundation, especially fighting against wrong and hostile viewpoints. Maintain and develop the fighting force through the activities of the Secretariat Groups, the Bad and Toxic Information Handling Groups, the Collaborators Groups of the branches, affiliated Party Committees, and socio-political organizations in the province. Strengthen the connection of Facebook and Zalo accounts... The Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee 35 with the Steering Committees 35-16 of districts, towns and cities with the Steering Committees of the branches and affiliated Party Committees to share information, orient content and coordinate the fight against and refute bad and toxic information on social networks. Proactively seek guidance and direction from the Provincial Steering Committee 35 to guide and provide arguments to protect the Party's ideological foundation, serving the fight against and refuting wrong and hostile arguments; Maintain and improve the quality and effectiveness of communication channels on the Internet and social networks to promote and orient appropriately throughout the province.

More than anyone else, the Vietnamese people understand very well the situation of their country. Over the past years, under the leadership of the Party and the management of the State, the Vietnamese economy has continuously developed, achieved great achievements of historical significance, and developed strongly and comprehensively. The achievements and results of the struggle to protect the Party's ideological foundation in the new period are great and important in terms of politics, ideology - theory and practice, maintaining the socialist orientation; the country continues to develop steadily on the path of innovation and international integration.

The achievements in implementing the renovation process have continued to affirm that our Party's renovation policy is correct, creative, and consistent with Vietnam's reality and the development trend of the times; affirming that the Party's correct leadership is the leading factor determining the victory of the Vietnamese revolution. And once again affirming that in addition to the responsibility of citizens, the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against erroneous and hostile arguments is an inseparable responsibility of every cadre and Party member in the current situation.
