On the morning of December 21, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics coordinated with Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee to organize the Ceremony to receive the Certificate of recognition of Nguyen Van Cu Cadre Training School meeting level 1 standards. This is an event of special significance, a milestone marking the journey of more than 60 years of construction and development of Nguyen Van Cu Cadre Training School.
Attending the ceremony were comrades: Professor, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, Director of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council; Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Duy Bac, Permanent Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; representatives of leaders of central ministries, branches and Political Schools of provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta region.
On the side of Quang Ninh province, there were comrades: Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Trinh Thi Minh Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; Standing members of the Provincial People's Council, People's Committee, National Assembly Delegation, representatives of leaders of departments, branches, sectors and localities of the province.
Immediately after the Central Party Secretariat issued Regulation No. 11-QD/TW on May 19, 2021, implementing the direction of the Standing Committee of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, Nguyen Van Cu Cadre Training School established a Steering Committee and developed a Project to build a standard school to submit to the Provincial Party Committee. On October 20, 2022, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee issued Decision No. 765-QD/TU approving the Project "Building a standard Nguyen Van Cu Cadre Training School, period 2022 - 2027, orientation to 2030".
Implementing the Project, with the starting point of achieving 35/55 standard targets, the Party Committee and the School Board of Directors issued specialized resolutions, programs and plans clearly defining the goals and roadmap for completing the criteria.
Under the regular and continuous direction of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the coordination of departments, branches and sectors in the province, with the spirit of solidarity and unity and the efforts of the School, in 3 years, the School has completed 6 groups of criteria, with 55/55 level 1 standards, of which 14 criteria exceeded the standards, many criteria met and approached level 2 standards. Typically: The quality of the School's staff and lecturers has been significantly improved, over 97% of lecturers have master's degrees; ensuring the rate of concentrated and non-concentrated TCLLCT training according to regulations; criteria on scientific research and practical summary all met and exceeded level 2 standards with 5 provincial-level topics and projects; 6 provincial-level seminars; 13 books...
Speaking at the ceremony, Professor, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, highly appreciated the results achieved by the school. This result is thanks to the strong direction of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, the contribution and cooperation of the entire provincial political system; the spirit of promoting internal strength and taking advantage of external strength of the school. In particular, Nguyen Van Cu Cadre Training School has made a remarkable mark in terms of training scale, facilities; scientific research activities, summarizing practices and the quality of staff and lecturers.
Emphasizing that building a team of cadres equal to the task is the most important factor, the key of the key in Party building work, Professor, Doctor Nguyen Xuan Thang, suggested: Quang Ninh province continues to pay attention to leadership, close direction so that Nguyen Van Cu Training School can maintain and uphold the standard of level 1, moving towards building the school to reach the standard of level 2. This is the best preparation for the staff to serve the success of the upcoming Quang Ninh Provincial Party Congress. In particular, continue to build the school to truly become a "red address" for training and fostering cadres of the province; consolidate and improve the team of lecturers with enough capacity and qualifications to train a team of dedicated and capable cadres; pay attention to modernizing the school's facilities and techniques to meet the requirements and tasks of the new situation; promote digital transformation, continue to invest in the project "Building a smart school at Nguyen Van Cu Cadre Training School".
Regarding Nguyen Van Cu Cadre Training School, Professor, Doctor Nguyen Xuan Thang requested the school to continue to maintain the criteria of a level 1 standard political school and focus on implementing solutions to strive to achieve the criteria of level 2 standards; synchronously and more drastically deploy training and fostering work; pay attention to scientific research activities, proactively register scientific topics, scientific seminars, provincial and ministerial levels in priority research fields, focus on practical issues arising in the locality; build internal solidarity, a model of Party School culture; take the lead in fighting against degradation in political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, manifestations of "self-evolution", "self-transformation" within the school...
Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Vu Dai Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, emphasized: The ceremony to receive the Certificate of recognition of Nguyen Van Cu Cadre Training School of Quang Ninh province meeting level 1 standards is a significant political event, a milestone in the journey of construction and development of the School associated with the general development of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee; is the result reflecting the tireless efforts of generations of leaders, lecturers, officials, and students of Nguyen Van Cu Cadre Training School under the leadership, direction, and regular guidance of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics as well as the leadership, direction, and nurturing of generations of leaders of Quang Ninh province through the periods.
Emphasizing the key tasks in the coming time, the Provincial Party Secretary suggested: Nguyen Van Cu Cadre Training School continues to build and develop more and more strongly, creating a strong change in quality and efficiency in training and fostering cadres, in scientific research activities, summarizing practices; actively contributing to promoting sustainable socio-economic development of the province and the region. In particular, focusing on further innovating the training and fostering of cadres; promoting scientific research and summarizing practices; building a team of truly dynamic, creative lecturers with good moral qualities, wholeheartedly devoted to the training career; proactively advising the province to invest in modernizing facilities and equipment to better serve teaching, learning and scientific research; continuing to innovate the school's management methods towards increasingly perfecting, streamlining, and becoming more effective in terms of organization, apparatus, functions, and tasks.
The school continues to maintain the criteria and standards of level 1 that have been achieved with the awareness that "meeting standards is difficult, maintaining standards is even more difficult"; at the same time, it builds a plan to continue promoting the implementation of Decision 765-QD/TU, aiming to build the school to meet level 2 standards, with a scientific, feasible implementation roadmap that is suitable for practical conditions.
