Scientific workshop to promote the potential and advantages of Binh Thuan tourism

BTO-“Promoting the tourism potential and advantages of Binh Thuan province towards sustainable development” is the theme of the scientific workshop organized by Binh Thuan Political School on the morning of October 13. Attending the workshop were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee’s Propaganda Department, the Provincial Party Committee of Agencies and Enterprises, the Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and staff and lecturers of Binh Thuan Political School.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Tran Thi Minh Hoa - Vice Principal of the school said: With continuous growth over the past decades, tourism has affirmed itself as one of the fastest growing and largest service economic sectors in the world, contributing to the development and prosperity of countries. In the current trend of globalization, regionalization and international integration, local tourism needs to promote its potential and advantages to develop. The workshop "Promoting the potential and advantages of tourism in Binh Thuan province towards sustainable development" was organized to promote the collective intellectual strength in exchanging, assessing the potential, current situation and proposing solutions, contributing to promoting sustainable development of Binh Thuan tourism, commensurate with the potential and advantages. Thereby, lecturers can supplement their lectures appropriately, helping students have the most comprehensive and accurate overview of the province's tourism industry.

The workshop received 20 presentations from 18 units, officers and lecturers, focusing on issues such as the National Tourism Year with the theme "Binh Thuan - Green Convergence" is an opportunity for Binh Thuan tourism to promote its potential and advantages associated with preserving and promoting traditional cultural values of the locality; research and evaluate the current status of economic, cultural, social development and tourism management in the province; advantages and difficulties in preserving and promoting national cultural identity; developing sea and island tourism associated with sea sports; proposing solutions to improve the quality of tourism in the locality...

Ms. Nguyen Lan Ngoc - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province highly appreciated the effectiveness of the workshop program and provided more information on solutions to develop the province's tourism industry in the coming time.
