On January 14, Cam Lo District Police (Quang Tri) said that the unit had just stopped and arrested two brothers illegally transporting 20 kg of synthetic drugs.
Previously, at 9:10 a.m. on January 9, on Dien Bien Phu Street (Dong Luong Ward, Dong Ha City, Quang Tri), using professional measures, Cam Lo District Police detectives caught red-handed two suspects, Pham Duy Trung (27 years old) and Pham Ngoc Dat (25 years old, Trung's younger brother, both residing in Luong Le Village, Tan Hop Commune, Huong Hoa District, Quang Tri) transporting illegal drugs. Evidence seized at the scene was about 20 kg of drugs.
At the police station, the two suspects initially confessed that they were hired by a person in Huong Hoa District to transport illegal drugs to Ho Chi Minh City for a fee of 60 million VND.
Previously, on January 8, Cam Lo District Police coordinated with the Central Region Drug and Crime Prevention Task Force (Border Guard Command) to arrest Vo Dai Luong (24 years old, residing in Thuy Phu Commune, Huong Thuy District, Thua Thien - Hue) for transporting illegal drugs. Evidence seized at the scene included 5,600 synthetic drug pills.
