Dr. Bui The Duc, Vice Chairman of the Central Council for Theory and Criticism of Literature and Art, said: For Vietnamese people, fulfilling filial piety means upholding human morality. Putting filial piety into religious practice is for young mediums and good men and women to show gratitude to their parents. It is also a meaningful thing for the Mother Goddess religion.
Images of mother-child affection were shown at the festival.

Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Thu Thuy, Hanoi National University of Education, said that in the current social context, when value systems are disrupted, promoting filial piety is especially meaningful, especially for the young generation.
According to the organizers, the highlight of the festival is the ritual of gratitude to parents, in which many disciples bring their parents to the festival to express their respect, love, and gratitude for their upbringing. This is also the reason why the festival is increasingly expanding beyond the Mother Goddess worship community.
At the festival, there were performances honoring Vietnamese culture and history performed by singers Anh Tho, Vu Thang Loi, and Le Anh Dung. Among them were songs such as Vietnamese Filial Piety, and Hundred Good Deeds: Filial Piety Comes First , composed by Master Huyen Tich, the head of the Co Be Ngai Vang Temple.
