At 10 p.m., the strongest wind near the center of storm No. 8 was level 11 (103-117 km/h), gusting to level 13. The storm moved northwest at a speed of about 20 km/h.

Forecast by 10pm on November 12, storm No. 8 in the eastern sea of ​​the North East Sea, moving northwest at a speed of 15-20km/h. The strongest wind near the storm center is level 9-10, gusting to level 12.

At around 10pm on November 13, the storm in the northern sea area of ​​the North East Sea changed direction to West Northwest, speed 10-15km/h, gradually weakening. The strongest wind near the storm center was level 8-9, gusting to level 11.

At 10 p.m. on November 14, storm No. 8 in the North of the North East Sea continued to move in a West-Northwest direction, traveling about 10km per hour and gradually weakened into a tropical depression. The strongest wind near the storm's center was level 7, gusting to level 9.

From the next 72 to 96 hours, the tropical depression will move in the West Southwest direction, about 5km per hour, and its intensity will continue to weaken.

In addition, forecasting heavy rain in the Central region of our country, the meteorological agency said that from the night of November 11 to the night of November 12, Thua Thien Hue to Phu Yen will have moderate rain, heavy rain, locally very heavy rain and thunderstorms with rainfall from 70-150mm, some places over 250mm.

On the day and night of November 12, the Central Highlands will have moderate to heavy rain, locally very heavy rain and thunderstorms with rainfall of 40-90mm, in some places over 180mm.

To proactively prevent and respond to storms, heavy rains, floods, inundation, flash floods, and landslides, the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue of Thua Thien Hue province requires units, localities, and owners of irrigation and hydropower reservoirs in the area to closely monitor the bad weather developments in the coming days, which will be updated on the provincial and central information systems.

Localities and functional units need to organize reviews and be ready to evacuate people in areas at risk of deep flooding, flash floods, and landslides; prepare forces, means, equipment, and essential supplies according to the "four on-site" motto to be ready to respond to all situations.

Owners of irrigation and hydroelectric reservoirs must organize inspections and implement approved disaster response plans; proactively calculate reservoir operations to ensure safety; continue to monitor, strictly implement and operate the works according to approved procedures to ensure safety of the works and downstream areas.

Localities and functional forces review plans to ensure traffic safety, especially in areas that are easily isolated; proactively arrange forces, materials and means to overcome incidents and ensure smooth traffic on main traffic routes.
