Condé Nast Traveler suggests destinations based on their favorite colors. Sa Pa is one of the places where visitors can immerse themselves in lush green nature.
This colorful world can inspire travel from the smallest things. From the saffron orange of Buddhist monks' robes, the blue of the Bahamas, the red of bell pepper fields in India or the green of the Arashiyama bamboo forest in Japan... Condé Nast Traveler magazine recently brought a list of destinations that travelers can refer to for their 2024 journey, based on their favorite color. Green is an eternal color, like nature, symbolizing sustainability and hope. Those who love the green of nature can visit Sa Pa to admire the terraced fields in the northern mountains of Vietnam.

If you want to admire the green rice fields, visitors can come to Sa Pa around July and early August. By the end of August and early September, Sa Pa's landscape will gradually be covered in the golden color of the ripe rice season. Sa Pa is about 320 km from Hanoi, visitors can go by bus or train depending on their time. Visitors can spend 3 days 2 nights or 2 days 1 night, which is enough time to visit the villages around the town. Some other suggestions for green destinations in the world are Hoh - the largest rainforest in the United States located on the Olympic Peninsula, Washington state; or the Xanadu building with its green color and special architecture on the Calp coast, Spain. For those who love the color blue - the color that evokes confidence and a sense of serenity, the top suggestion is the Marble Chapels flooded cave in Chile; the ancient city of Chefchaouen in Morocco or the Chapel of Santa Catarina, also known as the Chapel of All Souls in the city of Porto, Portugal.
