According to the preliminary synthesis of the functional sector, the total expected supply of agricultural products produced in the province to serve people at the end of 2023 and the Lunar New Year 2024 includes: 2235,000 tons of rice, 29,610 tons of vegetables of all kinds, 9,705 tons of sweet potatoes, 17,935 tons of corn for grain, 67,814 tons of oranges; 2,898 tons of beef, 20,161 tons of pork, 7,377 tons of poultry meat and more than 88,800 thousand poultry eggs; 11,500 tons of aquatic products (9,000 tons of exploited seafood, 2,500 tons of aquaculture). This shows that, in general, the amount of agricultural products produced in the province to serve people at the end of 2023 and the Lunar New Year 2024 is higher than the amount of goods needed to be stored to serve people in the period before, during and after Tet.

According to the Department of Industry and Trade of Ha Tinh, the province currently has 1 commercial center, 3 supermarkets providing essential consumer goods (Co.op mart, Winmart in Ha Tinh city and Winmart Ky Anh), 150 traditional markets, 53 Winmart+ stores, 6 Co.op Food stores and a system of grocery stores, convenience stores, mini supermarkets distributed in districts, cities and towns are providing enough essential goods for people in the area. Practice in recent years shows that the amount of goods reserved by production, business and distribution units in the province to prepare to serve the needs of people during the Lunar New Year has increased by an average of 10 - 30%.

The economic situation is forecast to be difficult, customers continue to tighten spending, focusing on essential goods, therefore, purchasing power will increase slightly compared to the same period last year (about 5 - 10%) and increase 20 - 25% compared to normal days. In the coming time, the market will be more vibrant, demand for goods and travel will increase, prices of some goods may fluctuate due to the influence of world prices and increased input costs; supply and price of gasoline in the province continue to be complicated, depending on supply, world gasoline prices and the management of the Central Government...
