Handing over the library to Ba Tang Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities

Today, April 19, the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education in coordination with the People's Committee of Huong Hoa district, the Pacific Circle Organization and the Vietnam - Canada Education Development Support Association (VES) held an inauguration ceremony and handed over the library to Ba Tang Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities.

After more than 3 months of construction, the Library of Ba Tang Primary and Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities has been completed and put into use. The library has an area of ​​90 ^m2 including 1 storage room and 1 reading room. The total investment is nearly 600 million VND, of which the non-refundable foreign non-governmental aid capital is 500 million VND and the People's Committee of Huong Hoa district has contributed nearly 100 million VND.

The library will help nearly 1,000 students develop a reading culture and develop reading habits. At the same time, it will create conditions and space for students and teachers to research documents and search for information for their studies, professional work and other educational activities.

On this occasion, Director of the Department of Education and Training Le Thi Huong presented 10 scholarships worth 3 million VND in total to 10 disadvantaged students studying at Ba Tang Primary and Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities; The Trans-Vietnam Book Fair and benefactors donated many library equipment worth 20 million VND and more than 1,200 books to the school.
