Handing over multi-purpose house and school library to children in Hue

On the morning of August 29, the Center for Social Work and the Children's Protection Fund of Thua Thien Hue province held a handover ceremony and launched two multi-purpose buildings of Vy Da Primary School and Pham Van Dong Secondary School library in Vy Da ward, Hue city.

Previously, at the launching ceremony of the Month of Action for Children 2024 held in Hue, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha and Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung attended the roof-raising ceremony of the multi-purpose building of Vy Da Primary School.

According to the leaders of the Social Work Center and the Children's Protection Fund of Thua Thien Hue province, the multi-purpose building of Vy Da Primary School has an area of ​​340 square meters, including teaching, learning, playing and living areas. The project also has a stage, playground and modern equipment, meeting the standards of the education sector.

Pham Van Dong Secondary School Library has 2 floors with each floor area of ​​175m2. The project includes the following items: archive room, reading room, medical room and extracurricular activity room, all of which ensure quality and are suitable for studying and researching.

The total investment capital for these two projects is more than 5 billion VND, sponsored by the business community through the Vietnam Children's Fund.

Ms. Phan Minh Nguyet, Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Thua Thien Hue province, said that the completion and putting into use of these two projects will serve well the research, study, entertainment and activities of teachers and students.

On this occasion, the Social Work Center and the Children's Support Fund of Thua Thien Hue province mobilized and presented 20 gifts to disadvantaged students of Vy Da Primary School and Pham Van Dong Secondary School.
