In addition, people in Tan Thoi 1 Hamlet, Tan Hiep Commune (Hoc Mon District) also said that a monkey often appeared in the area, causing trouble, stealing food, catching chickens and puppies. Seeing the monkey causing trouble, people chased it away, but the animal bared its teeth and had to run away.
"It's been here for 5 years. It was so small before, but now it's so fierce that everyone in the neighborhood is afraid of it," said Nguyen Thi Lien (74 years old).
On the morning of November 11, forest rangers went to the two areas to coordinate with local authorities to search for and capture monkeys.
