On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam on February 3 (1930 - 2025), on the afternoon of February 3, the Executive Committee of the Bac Giang Provincial Party Committee held a meeting to review the glorious tradition of the Party. Comrade Nguyen Van Gau - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee chaired the meeting.

Former Standing Committee members of the Provincial Party Committee, members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, members of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee received the Party Badge on the occasion of February 3, 2025. At the meeting, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thi Huong presented a speech reviewing the tradition of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam on February 3 (1930-2025). On the historic spring days exactly 95 years ago, on February 3, 1930, in Kowloon (Hong Kong, China), under the chairmanship of comrade Nguyen Ai Quoc, the Conference merged 3 communist organizations in Vietnam (Indochinese Communist Party, Annam Communist Party and Indochinese Communist Federation) into a single party, the Communist Party of Vietnam. The founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam was an important historical event, marking a major turning point in the history of the Vietnamese revolution; a brilliant milestone on the path of development of our nation, ending the period of deadlock and crisis in the path of national salvation and liberation.
The birth of the Communist Party of Vietnam, which President Ho Chi Minh painstakingly prepared politically, ideologically and organizationally, was the inevitable result of history, of the process of combining Marxism-Leninism with the workers' movement and patriotic movement in Vietnam, meeting the development requirements of our country's revolution and the trend of the times.
Over the past 95 years, under the talented and wise leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and beloved President Ho Chi Minh, the Vietnamese people have overcome all difficulties, hardships and challenges, achieved one victory after another, and created great and proud miracles in the 20th and 21st centuries, bringing the country steadily towards socialism, becoming increasingly rich and civilized, so that our country has the foundation, potential, position and international prestige as it is today.
Over the past 95 years, the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Bac Giang province have always promoted the noble traditions of a land with a long history, rich in patriotic traditions, traditions of solidarity, heroism and revolution, absolutely loyal and trusting in the leadership of the Party, striving to achieve many important achievements. The Party Committee of Bac Giang province has continuously grown over the past 95 years.
From the beginning, there were only 3 party members of the Bac Giang - Bac Ninh Communist Indochina Party Cell (Pham Van Chat, Ho Ngoc Lan, Nguyen Huu Can), up to now (December 2024), the Bac Giang Provincial Party Committee has 91,218 party members, operating in 590 grassroots party organizations. Promoting the heroic tradition of solidarity and unity, the government and people of Bac Giang have overcome all difficulties and challenges, persistently striving to achieve many important achievements. With its contributions and achievements, the Provincial Party Committee has been awarded many noble awards by the Party, State and Government such as: Gold Star Order; Independence Order; Ho Chi Minh Order; conferring the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces to the Party Committee, government and people of Bac Giang province...
The great achievements that Bac Giang province has achieved, the fine traditions that the Party Committee, government, armed forces and people of Bac Giang have built over the past 95 years are the crystallization of the intelligence, enthusiasm, strength, courage and will of generations of cadres and party members, of generations of predecessors, of generations following generations of children of our beloved homeland Bac Giang. Especially, there are great contributions from thousands of generations of excellent cadres and party members of our homeland, including leaders of different periods and outstanding party members who have been awarded the Party Badge.
Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thi Huong emphasized that in the current period, Party building work still faces many difficulties and challenges, requiring each Party organization and Party member to be aware of promoting good traditions, maintaining and strengthening the revolutionary nature and vanguard role of the Party, building a truly clean and strong Party in terms of politics, ideology, ethics, organization, and cadres, innovating leadership methods, strengthening the flesh-and-blood ties between the Party and the People, ensuring that the Party is capable of leading the country's cause to continuously develop.
With pride and confidence in the wise leadership of the Party, the Party Committee and the people of all ethnic groups in Bac Giang province vow to unite wholeheartedly, the flesh and blood bond between the Party and the people, each cadre and party member in each of their working positions constantly innovates, wholeheartedly and with all their might "Serve the Fatherland, serve the People", build the homeland of Bac Giang increasingly rich, beautiful and civilized, bringing Bac Giang and the whole country into a new era - the era of the Vietnamese people's rise.
Here, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee presented flowers to congratulate the former Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, former members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, and former members of the Provincial Party Committee who were awarded the Party Badge on the occasion of February 3.
Speaking here, Comrade Duong Van Trong - Former Deputy Secretary of Bac Giang Provincial Party Committee expressed his emotion, honor, pride, and at the same time sent his thanks to the provincial leaders and former provincial leaders for their constant attention, help, and companionship during the past time. He affirmed that he will continue to make efforts, strive to implement and follow the example, morality, and style of Ho Chi Minh; maintain the revolutionary qualities and ideals of the Party, and contribute a small part to building an increasingly strong Party organization.
The delegates attending the meeting expressed their excitement and pride in the glorious history of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Provincial Party Committee. At the same time, they believed that under the leadership of the Party Committee, Bac Giang province would overcome all difficulties, successfully implement the set goals and tasks, and prepare the conditions to join the whole country in entering the new era.
Speaking at the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Van Gau emphasized that along with the whole country, over the past 95 years, the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Bac Giang province have always been loyal and wholeheartedly following the Party. During the fierce war years, cadres, party members and people in the province have upheld revolutionary heroism; enthusiastically competed, fought and produced at the same time; provided human and material resources to the frontline, together with the army and people of the whole country to defeat the French colonialists and the American imperialists, creating the Great Victory of Spring 1975, unifying the country. After that, they continued to fight heroically with the whole country to protect the border and fulfill their noble international obligations. Entering the period of innovation, the Party Committee, government and people of the province continued to creatively apply the Party's policies and guidelines to build and develop the locality, suitable to each specific stage. After many years and many terms of persistent efforts, Bac Giang has made strong progress and achieved many outstanding achievements. From a purely agricultural province with extremely difficult socio-economic conditions at the time of re-establishment in 1997, Bac Giang has risen to become a bright spot of the country in many fields.
To achieve these proud achievements, the Party Committee, the Government and the people of all ethnic groups in Bac Giang province are forever grateful to the great President Ho Chi Minh; thank the Party Central Committee, the National Assembly, the Government, the Party and State leaders through the periods who have always cared, directed, supported and helped the province to have the conditions to strive to rise up. He expressed his gratitude for the great contributions of the provincial leaders through the periods, the revolutionary elders, the Heroic Vietnamese Mothers, the Heroes of the Armed Forces, the Heroes of Labor, families with meritorious services to the country, generations of cadres, party members, soldiers of the armed forces, the business community and the people of all ethnic groups in the province, the children of Bac Giang in all regions of the country and abroad who have joined hands and contributed to building a strong Bac Giang Provincial Party Committee, building a developed Bac Giang province. Bac Giang province always maintains its steadfast belief in following the Party; Be steadfast and steadfast in the face of all difficulties and challenges, together with the entire Party and people, continue to build a rich and strong Vietnam, standing shoulder to shoulder with the world powers as Uncle Ho always wished.
The comrade informed that 2025 is a year of special importance for our country in general and the Bac Giang Provincial Party Committee in particular. This is the final year for the province to accelerate and complete the goals and tasks of the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress; at the same time, it is the year of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term. In the context of many difficulties and challenges, in order to successfully and comprehensively implement the set goals and tasks, each cadre and party member, especially the members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the members of the Provincial Party Committee, and key cadres at all levels must always be exemplary; always put collective interests above personal interests, all for the common cause, for the development of the Provincial Party Committee.
He requested that each cadre and party member, especially the members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the members of the Provincial Party Committee, and key cadres at all levels, pay attention to and focus on doing well the work of Party building and building a clean and strong political system in all aspects to meet the requirements of new tasks. Improve the leadership capacity of Party committees and organizations, first of all, strictly implement the Party's leadership and governance methods. Party committees lead through maintaining and strictly implementing the principles of Party organization, activities, and working regulations; through the work of organizing cadres, inspection and supervision, and exemplary work, and strengthen internal solidarity and unity.
Closely follow, thoroughly grasp and seriously, promptly and effectively implement the leadership and direction documents of the Central and the province, in accordance with the requirements of tasks and practical situations. Focus on innovating the thinking, leadership, direction and management methods of Party committees and authorities at all levels; innovating the working style and manner of cadres, civil servants and public employees. Effectively lead the work of self-criticism and criticism.
Focus on the task of reorganizing the apparatus and staffing in the political system to ensure streamlining, compactness, and efficiency, and to operate effectively and efficiently in accordance with the Central Committee's direction, to be completed in the first quarter of 2025. This is an important task, a revolutionary change in the work of Party building and the political system in the era of national development.
In parallel with the work of arranging and stabilizing the organizational apparatus, focusing on leadership and preparing well the conditions for successfully organizing the Party Congresses at all levels and the 20th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030 in accordance with the spirit of Directive No. 35-CT/TW dated June 14, 2024 and Conclusion No. 118-KL/TW dated January 18, 2025 of the Politburo; the focus is on the preparation of documents and personnel for the congress to be thorough, meticulous and cautious. The comrade requested the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee to urgently guide the implementation of new points on the congress personnel work in the spirit of the Central Executive Committee Conference held on January 23 and 24, 2025. The Party Committees under the Provincial Party Committee focus to the maximum, successfully direct the model congress to serve as a basis for drawing experience and expanding in the process of directing the Congress.
After the Party Congresses at all levels, focus on building and strictly implementing the working regulations of the Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, building and promulgating resolutions, directives, projects, programs, plans... to concretize the resolutions of the Party Congresses for the 2025-2030 term, ensuring suitability with practical conditions and feasibility during implementation.
Along with that, continue to promote the work of preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity. In which, fighting waste must be placed on par with fighting corruption. Do a good job of propaganda and mass mobilization; further promote the role of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations to actively participate in Party building, government building, propaganda, and mobilize people to respond to and comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's policies and laws. In particular, further promote the central role, the subject of the People, and the strength of the great national unity bloc in organizing and implementing tasks.
In the field of socio-economic development and state management in all fields, continue to research, develop and promulgate mechanisms and policies to concretize the leadership policies of the Central Government, the Provincial Party Committee, and the Provincial Party Standing Committee in accordance with practical conditions; at the same time, review, amend and supplement issued mechanisms and policies that are no longer suitable to promptly remove obstacles, mobilize resources, and create motivation to promote the development of sectors and localities.
Promote economic growth associated with comprehensive development in all fields, considering this as the top, central and consistent goal. In particular, prioritize the creation of new growth drivers, in addition to renewing traditional growth drivers. Achieve the target of GRDP growth of 13.6% (striving for 14%-15%) in 2025 and an average growth of over double digits according to the Central target in the following years. Focus on completing a synchronous and connected infrastructure system, especially transport infrastructure, digital infrastructure, and urban infrastructure; resolve and handle projects and public investment works with long implementation periods, backlogs, slow progress, and inefficiencies; and arrange and effectively use public assets; at the same time, focus on thoroughly resolving the causes leading to waste of public assets and natural resources. Concentrate resources to gradually renovate and build facilities and working conditions for new administrative units.
Continue to promote administrative reform, improve the business investment environment, enhance provincial competitiveness. Promote the development of digital economy and digital society. Focus on attracting and training, improving the quality of human resources, contributing to increasing labor productivity and enhancing the competitiveness of the province. In 2025, continue to focus on site clearance, establishing more industrial parks and clusters according to approved planning; focus on attracting strategic investors and large-scale projects in the industrial and service sectors to create momentum for economic growth.
Along with economic development, pay attention to comprehensive development of cultural and social fields, ensuring that all people enjoy the fruits of economic development. Implement well social security policies, eliminate hunger and reduce poverty, improve people's lives, especially in ethnic minority areas, mountainous and highland areas. Continue to mobilize resources to eliminate 100% of temporary houses, dilapidated houses for poor households, near-poor households, families of meritorious people with housing difficulties, and degraded houses that need to be repaired or rebuilt for households with sufficient legal conditions on land.
Synchronously implement measures to maintain political security and social order and safety in the area, prevent the formation of hot spots, and ensure a secure, safe, and stable environment for development. Continue to focus on improving the quality of public reception, handling complaints and denunciations, in conjunction with enhancing the responsibility of leaders. Continue to promote foreign affairs, cooperation, and association activities to effectively attract and mobilize external resources to promote development and enhance the image and position of the province.
The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that the correct leadership of the Party is the leading factor determining the victory of the Vietnamese revolution, the truth that has been summarized through the glorious history of nearly a century of our Party and our nation. As the initiator and leader of the construction of a new era, our Party bears on its shoulders the glorious mission and heavy responsibility that our people have placed their trust in. Proud of the glorious Party, proud of the glorious tradition of the Bac Giang Provincial Party Committee, we are more deeply aware of our duties and responsibilities in the era of national development, in the new turning point of our homeland and country. Bac Giang province is determined to strive to successfully implement the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress, confidently entering the 2025-2030 term with new goals, new aspirations, new successes, continuing to become a bright spot in the cause of building our homeland and country to become increasingly rich, civilized, modern, integrated and developed./.
