On the afternoon of June 22 , the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee held a ceremony to announce the personnel decision. Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen presented the decision of the Secretariat approving Ms. Tran Kim Yen, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Delegation, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City to join the Inspection Committee of the City Party Committee and hold the position of Chairwoman of the Inspection Committee of the City Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025.
Ms. Tran Kim Yen was transferred to replace Mr. Duong Ngoc Hai. Previously, Mr. Duong Ngoc Hai, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, was transferred and appointed to participate and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term. At the meeting of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council on May 19, Mr. Duong Ngoc Hai was elected as Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

Ms. Tran Kim Yen (55 years old, from Phu Yen province) has a bachelor's degree in law, master's degree in law, and advanced degree in political theory.
Regarding her work history, Ms. Tran Kim Yen was the Chairwoman of the Tan Binh District Women's Union, Head of the Tan Binh District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, Deputy Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, and Secretary of the District 1 Party Committee before holding the position of Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in July 2022. Ms. Tran Kim Yen is a delegate of the 15th National Assembly, term 2021 - 2026.
At the ceremony, Secretary Nguyen Van Nen also presented the decision of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee on appointing Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, to join and hold the position of Secretary of the Party Delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ho Chi Minh City, term 2019 - 2024.

Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc (54 years old, from Kien Giang province) has a bachelor's degree in business administration, political science, and political theory.
Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc is a cadre who has grown up from the Youth Union and has been involved in this field for a long time, holding the position of President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, term VI (2010 - 2015). Since 2012, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc has been assigned to work at the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization and has been Deputy Head of the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization since September 2018. Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc is also a National Assembly delegate in the 13th and 14th terms.
In January 2022, the Central Party Secretariat transferred Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc to work at the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and hold the position of Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Organization Board. From September 2023, he became Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.
