Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta loves Nicolo Barella
Arsenal are ambitious to recruit Nicolo Barella to build a solid midfield, aiming to conquer the Premier League and Champions League.
In the Gunners' project, Jorginho and Thomas Partey will leave the Emirates Stadium at the end of the season. Barella could come in to supplement these departures.
Barella played an important role in helping Italy win a ticket to EURO 2024 as well as bringing Inter to the Champions League round of 16 and taking the top spot in Serie A. These contributions helped him to be included in the Gran Gala del Calcio team of the year for the 5th time.
In Serie A, Barella is the midfielder with the most passes into the opposition penalty area (31) and is second in terms of passes into the final third (95; only behind Lazio's Luis Alberto, 97 passes).
Barella's all-round ability is a favourite of coach Mikel Arteta, with Arsenal expected to negotiate with Inter for €80 million for the 26-year-old midfielder.

MU and Newcastle are both interested in Jonathan Tah
Journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed that Newcastle decided to compete with MU in the transfer market to get the signature of central defender Jonathan Tah.
For several weeks now, Jonathan Tah has been considered one of MU's targets to supplement their shaky defense.
Newcastle have ambitions to become a top force in the Premier League. Manager Eddie Howe wants Jonathan Tah to complete his project.
Jonathan Tah is playing very effectively in the system that coach Xabi Alonso built for Leverkusen. This is what has attracted the attention of MU and Newcastle.
Jonathan Tah's contract runs until 2025. According to Romano , the 27-year-old is likely to leave in 2024 and Leverkusen are considering whether to sell him in January.

MU plans to replace Andre Onana in the summer of 2024
Despite coach Erik ten Hag's support for Andre Onana, United officials still intend to replace the goalkeeper next summer with Mike Maignan as their target.
MU was interested in Maginan when the 2022/23 season had not ended, the period when the club decided not to renew with David de Gea.
However, coach Ten Hag tried his best to ask the "Red Devils" to recruit Onana, so the plan with Maignan was eventually put aside.
Maignan is a mainstay of the French national team, and was chosen for the second consecutive year as Serie A's best goalkeeper, at the Gran Gala del Calcio (of the Italian Footballers' Association, replacing the previous Oscar del Calcio).
He had just provided a long pass for Pulisic to score in Milan's 3-1 win over Frosinone. Earlier, when the score was 0-0, Maignan won a one-on-one with the visitors.
In 3 consecutive seasons in Serie A, Maignan always had at least 1 assist. This is something Onana cannot compare with, so MU considered paying Milan 70 million Euros to sign the former PSG goalkeeper.
