On March 4, Apple announced the new iPad Air with M3 chip, equipped with artificial intelligence (AI). The line has a starting price of 599 USD for the 11-inch screen version and 799 USD for the 13-inch screen model.

Customers can order from March 4, while shipping will start from March 12.

Apple's new iPad Air is equipped with a chip powerful enough to perform AI operations, such as asking ChatGPT to answer user questions.

With the new product, Apple hopes to attract more customers and keep up with competitors such as South Korea's Samsung or China's Huawei in the race to bring AI into products.

Also on March 4, Apple CEO Tim Cook revealed the new MacBook Air product that will be launched this week.

The short introductory video posted by Mr. Cook on social network X reads: "There's something in the air." This is the advertising slogan Apple used when launching the first MacBook product in 2018.

The new MacBook Air is expected to be powered by an M4 chip and will come in the same 13-inch and 15-inch designs as the current model. The new M4 chip will come with some notable upgrades for users.

Currently, the MacBook Air maxes out at 24GB of memory, but the new M4 model will likely bump that up to 32GB, with faster memory bandwidth, two additional CPU cores, and a 12MP Center Stage camera.

Additionally, the M4 MacBook Air can power two external displays at once while still using the built-in display — just like the base model M4 MacBook Pro./.
