On the afternoon of March 10, 2023, within the framework of the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival, the Street Festival program with the theme "Buon Ma Thuot - Destination of world coffee" took place impressively, imbued with the identity of the Central Highlands, attracting a large number of people and tourists to immerse themselves in a vibrant, energetic and colorful space.

Attending the opening ceremony of the Street Festival were representatives of leaders of central and local ministries and branches, along with more than 1,500 domestic and foreign artists, actors, artisans, farmers, workers... The appearance of the Festival's Media Ambassadors, Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 H'Hen Nie, Miss Vietnam Tourism Ambassador 2024 Dinh Thi Hoa, Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 Ngoc Chau and a group of famous beauty queens created a special attraction for the program.
The street festival is one of the most emotionally explosive activities at the Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival, carrying the message of love for coffee and pride in a land rich in inner strength, converging the quintessence of culture, history and the aspiration to become "The destination of world coffee".
The special highlight that makes this year's Street Festival special and impressive is the opening stage located at Buon Ma Thuot Victory Monument - one of the city's typical architectural and artistic works, bearing an important historical mark. This place is not only a symbol of the indomitable spirit but also a meaningful starting point for the vibrant parades. In that solemn space, historical values are honored, combined with the modern flow, expressing Buon Ma Thuot's aspiration to reach the world, becoming "The destination of world coffee".
Here, the art suite “Buon Ma Thuot – March Legend” was performed, along with the image of the red flag with yellow star fluttering, deeply depicting the indomitable spirit and national pride. This emotional moment combined with the image of hundreds of students with white coffee flowers and ripe red fruits not only reminded of a heroic historical journey but also expressed the aspiration of a world coffee capital to reach far on the world map.
Following the heroic moments, the Street Festival opened up a bustling space, bringing participants into the colorful cultural picture of the Dak Lak plateau, the common home of 49 ethnic groups living together. The special performances not only aroused feelings of pride but also connected participants with love for the unique cultural values of the legendary Central Highlands.
Delegations of artisans and farmers from 15 districts, towns and cities of Buon Ma Thuot brought to the festival vibrant cultural colors, from the echoing sound of gongs to graceful dances and colorful traditional costumes. Not only recreating the life of the Central Highlands, the delegation of artisans and farmers also portrayed the image of people who are attached to the great forest day and night, preserving and promoting the indigenous quintessence, while enhancing the value of Buon Ma Thuot Robusta coffee beans. From the fertile basalt land, coffee beans reach far and wide, spreading their unique flavors to the world, affirming Buon Ma Thuot's position on the world coffee map.
In particular, this year's parade continues to have the participation of coffee production and processing workers of Trung Nguyen Legend Group, combined with a group of disguised coffee artisans and those who are contributing to creating the spiritual value of coffee: businessmen, scientists, artists, and management agencies. This image evokes the connection between pioneering forces with a common spirit of service and creative aspirations to position the Buon Ma Thuot Robusta coffee brand and Vietnamese coffee culture on the world coffee map.
One of the most memorable highlights was the parade of beauty queens and beauties in costumes inspired by the world's coffee civilization. Miss Ngoc Chau, Thu Uyen, Doan Thu Thuy, Beauty Ngoc Mai, Beauty Queen Vu Nhu Quynh, Beauty Queen Tam Anh Thy appeared radiantly, continuing the mission of promoting Buon Ma Thuot coffee globally. In addition, young models in coffee beauty costumes, showed a charming, awake, energetic beauty.
The Street Festival also brought a unique cultural exchange with the participation of international folk art troupes from Cambodia and Korea. The energetic dances of the Korean troupe not only contributed to the vibrant festival atmosphere but also affirmed that coffee is an important bridge in economic and cultural cooperation relationships.
Not only a space to honor people who are attached to coffee trees, this year's Street Festival is truly a place where creative energy and aspirations converge. Like a cup of strong coffee inspiring a new day, the festival space explodes with passionate dances, vibrant artistic colors and contemporary performances. Each performance not only recreates the youthful, persistent and strong spirit but also shows the aspirations of the Central Highlands and Vietnamese coffee to reach further on the world map.
In particular, the children's parade "Childhood Colors" combined with the fun stilt team created a brilliant, vivid picture, expressing the strong vitality of the Central Highlands today, with the aspiration to reach high, the growth and change of life thanks to coffee beans. At the same time, creative art performances, including the roller skating parade on land, the children's strider bike, along with impressive tricking acrobatics, exciting, vibrant cheerleading performances and energetic modern dances continued to bring the audience and people explosive moments, spreading the spirit of youth, innovation and constant creativity.
Along with diverse art performances, stirring up the festival atmosphere, the elaborately decorated flower floats, simulating coffee trees, vast coffee gardens and Central Highlands farmers who have been attached to coffee trees for generations, brought beautiful images imbued with the identity of the Central Highlands. The parade floats of Trung Nguyen Legend appeared prominently with youthfulness, dynamism, and international spirit like the awakening energy and creativity of Trung Nguyen Legend coffee spreading to coffee lovers around the world. The impressive appearance and interaction between the floats with tourists and locals not only stirred up the festival atmosphere but also conveyed a strong message of connection, spreading love and pride for Buon Ma Thuot Robusta coffee to the world.
2025 marks the 7th time Trung Nguyen Legend has been assigned by the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee to coordinate the organization of the Street Festival. With its grand scale and eye-catching performances, the program continues to leave a strong impression. The Street Festival is not only a unique cultural and artistic event, but also an affirmation of Buon Ma Thuot's position in the world coffee civilization. This is also an effort of Trung Nguyen Legend Group to contribute to realizing Dak Lak province's determination to turn Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival into a "World Coffee Destination", honoring the value of Buon Ma Thuot Robusta coffee and affirming the position of Vietnamese coffee and coffee culture globally.
