AIA One Billion - mission to help one billion people live Healthier, Longer, Happier lives
AOB Trail 2023 is a program in a series of events in the journey to implement the AIA One Billion (AOB) mission of AIA Group towards helping one billion people live Healthier, Longer, Happier lives by 2030. More than a normal trail race, those steps also carry a humanitarian mission through fundraising for the Thai Red Cross Society.
Whether you are a professional athlete or someone who has just started trying trail running, all athletes can participate in AOB Trail 2023 because the tournament is organized with 4 different distances. The special feature of AOB Trail is the form of competition in teams (4 people/team) who must run and accompany each other to the finish line. The important goal is not only to reach the finish line fastest but also to be united, support teammates to move forward and reach the finish line together with the criterion "no one left behind".

To receive the golden ticket to participate in AOB Trail Thailand 2023, nearly 35,000 athletes registered to participate across the country. They overcame many interesting healthy living challenges, demonstrating enthusiastic sportsmanship and extraordinary determination with the companionship of AIA Vietnam.
Participants are connected and accompanied by AIA Vietnam management to complete healthy living experiences with AIA Vitality, the AOB Running virtual race on the iRACE platform and the final fitness assessment round.
After nearly 3 months of tireless efforts, 14 teams with 56 outstanding faces won fully sponsored tickets to participate in AOB Trail Thailand 2023.

"I learned about the program "Explode your inner strength - reach the peak" to win a ticket to participate in AOB Trail 2023 through running clubs and groups and very luckily, I was accompanied and guided in detail by AIA management to participate and complete the program. Thanks to the very close companionship, fairness and professionalism of the organizing committee, I always believed and tried to overcome myself. As a result, I won a ticket to participate in a major event in the region ," shared Mr. Ngo Trong Vinh, a member of the AIA Vietnam delegation participating in the AOB Trail Thailand.
Impressive achievements - "Explode internal strength, reach the peak"
The 4-day, 3-night journey of determination and strong Vitality spirit in Chiang Mai, Thailand has come to an end . After all, with great efforts and team spirit, the desire to overcome all challenges and enthusiastic support from the home team, AIA Vietnam has successfully completed the AOB Trail Thailand 2023 race with the achievement of entering the top 7 out of 20 teams in the 25km distance with the brilliance of the two teams VietDragon and TNR when they respectively finished in 2nd and 3rd place overall.

"I am very touched when my team won 2nd place overall. This is the result of a long journey full of effort, solidarity and perseverance of all members. I am not only participating in a trail race with roads and terrains to explore, but it is also a journey to break my own limits, to spread the spirit of healthy living to many people. Thank you AIA Vietnam, thank you teammates and runners across Asia for creating a memorable journey together", Mr. Nguyen Van Chung shared his feelings when the VietDragon team excellently finished 2nd place overall.

"Witnessing the four-member team holding hands and overcoming all challenges in the AOB Trail, I feel grateful to witness such emotional and beautiful moments. They are not only teammates but also true brothers, sharing joy, accompanying, and encouraging each other. This event is not just a simple sports activity, but also a testament to AIA's spirit of healthy living and community orientation. In particular, the participation of Mr. Tan Hak Leh, Group Regional General Director, who completed the 100km distance after 29 hours of participation, is a shining example of AIA's spirit of healthy living and commitment to the community ," shared Ms. Linh Nguyen, a member of the Organizing Committee from AIA Vietnam.
