70 households received housing support

The family of Mr. Sa Dinh Thin, Zone 8, My Lung Commune, received support of 40 million VND to build a house for poor households from the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development for Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas.

According to the report, the district has disbursed all capital in 2023. In 2024, the total capital of the National Target Program in the district is more than 3 billion VND, of which the central budget capital is 2.8 billion VND and the provincial budget counterpart capital is 280 million VND.

Up to this point, the communes have completed supporting the construction of 50 new houses for households in the district in 2023 and completed approving the list of beneficiaries for 70 households receiving housing support in 2024. Currently, some households have completed the acceptance and procedures to receive support for house construction according to regulations.

The implemented ethnic programs and policies will be a great driving force to help Yen Lap district fulfill its economic, cultural and social development goals in the area, improving the quality of life for people in general and ethnic minorities in particular.
