More than 30% of the renovation project of Lao Cai station square has been completed.

The Lao Cai Station Square Renovation Investment Project started in January 2025, with the main items being: paving the square; treating the drainage system; renovating and paving the sidewalks around the square; building a fountain with lighting effects... The project has an investment of 12 billion VND from land use revenue, increased tax and fee revenue and city budget capital.

At this time, the project is speeding up the progress of traffic items, casting concrete structures, underground infrastructure, etc. The construction volume has been completed about 30%.

The project was completed to contribute to the development of urban space, promoting the socio-economic development of the city as well as the province.
