Deputy Director of the Giong Rieng District Medical Center, Ha Quoc Viet, said that at around 2 p.m. on December 11, the General Emergency Department admitted 7 students with symptoms of abdominal pain, nausea... and were diagnosed and treated for digestive disorders. Currently, the students' health is stable and alert; 4 students were transferred to the Pediatrics Department for further monitoring.
According to an investigation by the Food Safety Department of the Giong Rieng District Medical Center, 7 students showed symptoms of stomachache and nausea after eating candy of unknown origin, with foreign words and no Vietnamese sub-label.
