NDO - On November 19, according to information from the Australian Embassy in Vietnam, 52 Vietnamese students are preparing to study at Australian universities under the Australian Government Scholarship program. These students will learn additional skills and create valuable connections, contributing to the inclusive and sustainable development of Vietnam.

“Australia has been proud to support human resource development in Vietnam for over 50 years through the Australia Awards Scholarships Program. These scholarships help the two countries understand each other better, equip potential Vietnamese leaders with the skills and knowledge to drive change and deepen the relationship between the two countries,” said Ms. Cherie Russell, Development Counsellor, Australian Embassy in Vietnam.

“Studying in Australia will help me enhance my skills as a special education teacher, equipping me with the knowledge and skills needed to make a more positive contribution to my future teaching career,” said Hoang Nhat Minh, a Master of Education student at Flinders University in Adelaide. “I am excited to learn about equitable education and explore the most effective practices to make a lasting impact on learners with different learning needs.”

The Australian Government Scholarships program supports the next generation of global leaders in developing countries. To date, more than 7,500 scholarships have been awarded to Vietnamese citizens.
