"The vessels have been separated from their moorings and two are now stuck on the sand near the dock. The third and fourth vessels are stranded on the Israeli coast, near (the city of) Ashkelon," CENTCOM said in a statement on May 25, according to AFP.
"No US personnel entered Gaza. We have no reports of injuries and the dock is operating normally," the statement said. CENTCOM also revealed that the Israeli navy was assisting in "rescuing" the stranded vessels.

US President Joe Biden announced plans in March to build a makeshift dock in waters near Gaza's shore amid accusations of Israel obstructing the overland delivery of aid to the blockaded territory.
Stephane Dujarric, spokesman for UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, told reporters on May 24 that the UN World Food Programme has deployed 97 trucks carrying relief supplies to Gaza via the dock since it opened on May 17.
