200 houses of gratitude for people in difficult circumstances in mountainous district of Quang Tri

In Quang Tri, with funding supported by the Ministry of Public Security, starting from October 2024, the Provincial Police Department has presided over and coordinated with relevant localities, units and organizations to build 200 houses for the poor in two mountainous districts: Huong Hoa and Dakrong, with a support level of 50 million VND for each house.

With the determination to complete housing for people in time to welcome the Lunar New Year of At Ty 2025, up to now 200 houses have been handed over, helping people feel secure in their work and production, contributing to consolidating a solid people's security posture, so that people trust and help the police force more in ensuring security and order.

Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant General Pham The Tung, Deputy Minister of Public Security, emphasized: The completion of the construction of 200 houses for people in Quang Tri according to the set schedule is a very valuable result and the result of the efforts, cooperation and contribution of many groups and individuals, all sharing the same spirit and will of "joining hands for the poor, leaving no one behind".

Lieutenant General Pham The Tung also congratulated the households that were given houses and hoped that with the new houses, the households would have stable and solid housing, feel secure in working and producing, improve their lives, and contribute to the work of protecting security and order at the grassroots level and building and developing the local socio-economy.

In recent times, implementing the policy of the Central Government, the Government and the Project of the Ministry of Public Security on eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses and supporting the construction of houses for people with revolutionary contributions, households affected by natural disasters, poor households, near-poor households, and ethnic minorities, over the past years, the Ministry of Public Security has mobilized resources and supported the construction of 17,200 houses in many localities across the country.
