15 years and the journey of "turning on ideas" for a forever green planet

"Turn off the lights, Turn on the ideas" was born with the mission of spreading the message of environmental protection to young people across the country and responding to the Earth Hour event launched globally by WWF (World Wildlife Fund). Returning after many world events such as epidemics and economic crises, the "Turn off the lights, Turn on the ideas" 2024 campaign has officially returned.

The message of this year's program is "Reduce waste for cleanliness - Recycle waste for greenness"

Choosing the message "Reduce waste for cleanliness, recycle waste for green", Turn off the lights Turn on ideas 2024 hopes to contribute to promoting the implementation of the 2020 Environmental Protection Law issued by the National Assembly, including regulations on classification and recycling of solid waste at source. According to the roadmap, the implementation of the Law on classification of waste at source will officially apply after December 31, 2024. Obviously, classifying domestic solid waste right at the source promotes the effectiveness of recycling, reuse, and treatment of domestic solid waste; plays an extremely important role in reducing waste treatment costs. In order to raise public awareness, the campaign launched the "Reduce waste generation" challenge. The highlight of the campaign's series of activities is the Turn Off the Lights - Green City festival which will take place on March 23, 2024 at The Loop Shopping Center, 241 Xuan Thuy, Dich Vong Hau, Cau Giay.
