Many students in Viet Tri city visited the 2025 Ancestral Land Book Festival.
This is an event in response to Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day (April 21), World Book and Copyright Day (April 23) and creates a reading space for book lovers in Phu Tho province. The book fair takes place from March 28 to April 6 at the Hung Vuong Museum, Viet Tri City (Phu Tho).
This year's Book Fair has the theme "Books - Accompanying and honoring the cultural values of the Ancestral Land", aiming to affirm the importance of books in social life, spread reading culture, and at the same time promote and advertise the cultural heritage and tourism of the ancestral land of the Vietnamese people.
The book fair displays more than 4,000 books and newspapers with diverse topics, along with many attractive activities such as: Recreating the Northern cultural space through old book stalls, photo booths, calligraphy, handicraft displays and folk games... In addition, readers also have the opportunity to participate in exchange programs such as: "Introducing good books every day" with the theme "Proud of a strip of land and river" or the painting activity "Friendly reading corner".
The Book Fair is not only an important cultural event of Phu Tho province, but also an opportunity to honor books, connect book lovers, spread the spirit of learning, and show gratitude to our ancestors for their contributions to building and defending the country. The event promises to bring many meaningful experiences, contributing to improving the reading culture in the community.
Many students from Viet Tri High School and Van Lang Secondary School, Viet Tri city visited and learned about books at the 2025 Ancestral Land Book Festival.
According to Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Tho province Nguyen Thi Hong Thuy, in recent times, the province has had many practical and diverse activities to launch and promote reading culture in the community. The province's functional departments have stepped up information and propaganda work on Vietnam Book Day.
The activities have contributed to spreading widely to all members of the community, arousing the passion for reading, the movement to find good and meaningful books. From there, it helps readers improve their knowledge to serve their work, study and research, towards building a learning society and lifelong learning, becoming a beautiful cultural feature in the social life of the ethnic groups in Phu Tho province.
