Accordingly, at around 11pm on August 26, a working group from the Ca Mau Provincial Police organized a patrol. When they arrived at Hamlet 7, Khanh An Commune, Minh City, they discovered a car with suspicious signs and signaled it to stop for inspection.
Upon inspection, there were 10 people in the car, along with weapons such as knives and iron pipes. Immediately after, the task force took this group of people to the headquarters for a quick test, the results were all negative for drugs.

The group confessed that at around 9:00 p.m. on August 26, Ly Cuong (28 years old, residing in Tan Thanh Ward, Ca Mau City) went to Tran Van Thoi District (Ca Mau) to resolve a business dispute and had a conflict with a group of local people. After that, Cuong called his brother Ly Phat Dat Nho (29 years old, residing in Tan Phu Commune, Thoi Binh District, Ca Mau) to come and help.
Knowing the story, Dat Nho called 9 more people to go to Tran Van Thoi district to "support" in resolving the conflict. After gathering enough people, Dat Nho hired a taxi for the whole group to go together and brought weapons. When they arrived at the above area, they were discovered by the working group of Ca Mau Provincial Police.
The working group of Ca Mau Provincial Police has handed over the case of a group of people carrying weapons to resolve conflicts to HU Minh Police for investigation and handling according to regulations.
