The projects include: Vietnam-Laos Petroleum Depot; CFG Nam Cua Viet Port Area; Stainless Steel and Alloy Steel Factory. These are 3 projects that were granted investment policies in the period of 2018 - 2019, but the progress has not been guaranteed compared to the investor's commitment after many times of schedule adjustment.

The Vietnam-Laos Petroleum Depot Project started construction in July 2022, with a total investment of VND 1,120 billion and a land use area of 17.93 hectares. According to the plan, the project will complete phase 1 in July 2024, but so far it is still behind schedule, only leveling the ground on an area of 6.1 hectares has been completed, and the construction of the breakwater has only reached 40% of the project volume. The reasons for the delay are problems with site clearance, the impact of the epidemic, and difficulties in construction due to complex terrain conditions.

The CFG Nam Cua Viet Port Area Project was granted investment policy in early 2018, the project has a scale of 3 wharves 390 meters long, total investment of 530 billion VND. According to the schedule, the construction of the works will be completed by the end of 2024, but up to now, only 80% of the site clearance has been completed; other works such as office building, administration building, main gate, mass piling of the main works - 3 berths, road infrastructure, yard, water supply and drainage, electricity... have only reached 15 - 50%. The reason for the delay is due to site clearance. This is a project behind schedule after many times of project progress adjustment.

For the project of Stainless Steel and Alloy Steel Factory, the investment policy was granted in 2019, and construction started in June 2022. After the project schedule was adjusted, it was completed and put into use in July 2026. Currently, the investor has completed 5 auxiliary items such as fences, surrounding embankments, operating house, power lines and 250 KVA transformer station; currently implementing construction of items such as internal traffic roads, foundry workshop, material workshop, steel rolling workshop, pile driving of foundation system.

Checking the progress and working with investors, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Tien emphasized: These are projects that have been granted investment policies by the Provincial People's Committee for a long time and have been started and implemented. However, the projects are behind schedule compared to the set plan and the Provincial People's Committee has repeatedly issued documents approving adjustments to the progress due to objective reasons, in order to remove difficulties and support investors.

However, up to now, the difficulties have been resolved, so it is recommended that investors focus resources and speed up the project implementation progress as committed. During the construction process, if any problems arise, promptly report to the Provincial People's Committee for handling.

Requesting departments and branches to pay attention to supporting investors in handling difficulties. In addition, recording investors' recommendations for further consideration and handling to speed up the implementation of projects.
