The province's total retail sales of goods and service revenue reached VND8,450.4 billion, up 21.32% over the same period last year - the opening figure in the first quarter of 2025 has made an important contribution to economic growth and the implementation of the 2025 plan.
Production and business establishments in the province are stable, goods on the market are diverse and abundant. Of which: retail sales of goods are estimated to account for 80.41% of total retail sales of goods and services, up 16.9% over the same period; accommodation, food, and tourism services account for 10.9%, up 54.27% over the same period; other services account for 8.69%, up 32.12% over the same period last year. Service revenue in the first quarter of 2025 is estimated at 733.8 billion VND, up 32.12% over the previous year; revenue from accommodation, food, and tourism services in the first quarter of 2025 is estimated at 921.8 billion VND, up 54.27% over the same period.
Total wholesale sales of goods in Yen Bai province in the first 3 months of the year are estimated at VND 6,109.4 billion, up 17.41% over the previous year. In the first 3 months of 2025, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) in the province increased by 3.2% over the same period in 2024 and increased by 2.28% over the previous quarter.
This result is due to the fact that in recent times, all levels, sectors and localities have effectively implemented market stabilization programs, organized connections between provincial distribution enterprises and local sources of goods to ensure balance of supply and demand of essential goods and stabilize the market.
Along with that, the province has also directed sectors and localities to create all favorable conditions and be more proactive in removing difficulties and obstacles in production and business for enterprises, promoting production and business, and at the same time attracting investment in the fields of trade, tourism, services, etc.
