In 2023, KTO Vietnam supported more than 41,000 Vietnamese visitors to Korea through the incentive travel program (equal to 56% compared to 2019).

With the promotion activities, in the first 6 months of 2024, Korea welcomed more than 293 thousand Vietnamese visitors (an increase of 30% over the same period in 2023 and reaching nearly 90% over the same period in 2019). Vietnam is currently the 6th largest international tourist market of Korea after China, Japan, Taiwan, the United States and Hong Kong.

According to Mr. Lee Jae Hoon - Chief Representative of the Korea Tourism Organization in Vietnam, through the workshop, KTO Vietnam hopes to connect Vietnamese and Korean tourism and travel agencies in the most effective way, and at the same time introduce the most attractive support policies from KTO Vietnam for Korean tourists in general and MICE tourism in particular.

In the coming period, the unit will also actively promote and advertise Korean tourism in the Vietnamese market to contribute to promoting tourism exchange between Vietnam and Korea.
