Determined to complete the expressway project through Ha Giang province

Implementing the Tuyen Quang – Ha Giang Expressway Project, Phase 1, the section through Ha Giang province is identified as one of the very important political tasks. Therefore, in recent times, all levels, sectors and contractors have been making great efforts and determination to speed up the construction progress; striving for the common goal of completing the project by the end of 2025.

The Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway Project (Phase 1) through Ha Giang province has a total length of more than 27 km. Up to now, compensation, site clearance and 3 resettlement areas have been completed in accordance with regulations. However, due to the impact of weather in 2024 , the progress and completed volume have not met the set plan. Faced with the above situation, the province has directed the investor to request the construction contractors to increase the progress, focus on human resources, machinery, equipment, supplies, materials, finance, overtime, and extra shifts to implement the construction to compensate for the slow progress.

Ha Giang province expressed its determination to complete the project by the end of 2025.

As of March 30, 2025, the output value reached VND 1,262/2,316 billion, reaching 54.5% of the contract value. Ha Giang province expressed its determination to complete the project by the end of 2025 in accordance with the direction of the Prime Minister .

Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Ha Thi Minh Hanh reported and discussed at the Government meeting on the completion of 3,000 km of highway by the end of 2025 at the Ha Giang provincial bridge point.

With the determination, efforts and consensus of the entire political system; especially the investors and contractors who are competing every day in the spirit of overcoming the sun and rain - this will be an important premise to help the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway Project, Phase 1, the section through Ha Giang province to be completed as planned. Thereby, it will contribute significantly to the socio-economic development, national defense and security of the province./.
