Principals and teachers at educational institutions in Thanh Hoa will be warned, criticized, have their performance level downgraded and will not be considered for competition if students violate traffic safety regulations.
On December 20, news from the Department of Education and Training of Thanh Hoa province said: The Department has just issued a document guiding the assignment of responsibility to the heads, teachers, and students of educational institutions where students violate traffic safety laws.
Specifically, leaders must comply with and set an example in implementing traffic safety regulations; monitor, inspect and coordinate with authorities in management work; and strictly handle violations.
Teachers are responsible for setting an example in complying with traffic safety regulations, integrating them into the curriculum and extracurricular activities. Students must strictly comply with the provisions of the Road Traffic Law.
The head and collective unit, teachers will be reminded, criticized, have their task completion level downgraded and not considered for emulation when violations occur (depending on the level).
Specifically, principals and teachers will be warned when the number of students violating is less than 5% in a year; criticized and announced to the whole industry when the number of students violating is from 5% to less than 10% in a year; the task completion level will be downgraded when the number of students violating is from 10% or more and not considered for emulation when there are 3 or more cases (for teachers, it is 2 cases) of serious violations in the same period of time.
For students, the first violation will be warned in front of the class, written self-criticism, confirmed by parents; the second violation will be criticized by the whole school, forced to attend a traffic safety training class; the third violation will be disciplined according to school regulations, parents and authorities (if necessary) will be notified.
