On the afternoon of June 11, a leader of the People's Committee of Xuan Dai commune (Tan Son district, Phu Tho province) said that authorities were investigating the cause of a serious traffic accident that occurred in the commune.

According to initial information, at around 12 noon on June 11, a tourist car carrying 28 people and the driver was traveling on Provincial Road 316E, Doc Gio section in Muoi Bong area, Xuan Dai commune, when it suddenly collided with 3 motorbikes, then crashed into the negative slope and plunged down the hill.
Passengers on the bus broke the doors to escape. Many locals and passersby also quickly helped and rescued.
According to authorities, the accident left two people with broken legs and many other victims with minor injuries who were taken to Tan Son District Medical Center for treatment. Fortunately, there were no fatalities.
The accident location is a hairpin bend, with a negative slope about 1 m high.
At the scene, at the foot of the hill about 50 meters from the road, the tourist bus lay on its side, next to many pieces of debris and passengers' belongings...
