Recently, the District Culture - Sports and Broadcasting Center coordinated with the Department of Education and Training of Chau Thanh District to successfully organize the 24th Chau Thanh District Primary School Football Tournament in 2023. With good preparation from the participating units, the tournament brought many good matches, creating a useful playground for students in the district during the summer.
The 24th Chau Thanh District Primary School Football Tournament in 2023 attracted 10 teams, with more than 100 athletes and coaches from primary schools in the district participating. The teams competed in a round robin to calculate points, selecting the 2 teams with the best results to compete in the finals.
Although the tournament is for primary school students, it attracts a lot of attention from parents and football lovers. On the field, the players compete with enthusiasm, excitement, and determination, bringing many good matches. After completing the group stage, the teams of B Binh Thanh Primary School and Vinh Loi Primary School excellently entered the final match.
In the championship match, both teams, Binh Thanh Primary School B and Vinh Loi Primary School, performed extremely attractively and thrillingly, with attacking moves that “give and take” each other. However, thanks to the effective performance of the defense and the excellence of the attacking players, Vinh Loi Primary School won with a score of 3-1, taking the championship cup.
