Construction of new Phuoc An industrial park

Phuoc An Port (Nhon Trach, Dong Nai) has a favorable location because it is located on the bank of Thi Vai River with a waterway considered to be the best in Vietnam today.

Decision No. 862/QD-TTg clearly states: Regarding the new urban traffic planning of Nhon Trach, the route direction for Lien Cang road and provincial road 25C will be adjusted; the road width will be maintained, the road cross-section will be adjusted for provincial road 25B; the cross-section will be adjusted, the road width will be expanded from 48 m to 61 m for the route connecting Ong Keo Industrial Park to the Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway intersection (location: Starting point from the road to Ong Keo Industrial Park to the end point is the Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway intersection with Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 in Vinh Thanh commune).

Regarding power supply planning , additional planning of the following routes will be added:

+ 500KV line Nhon Trach 4 Power Plant - Phu My - Nha Be branch;

+ 220KV line Nhon Trach 3 Power Plant - 500KV Long Thanh transformer station;

+ 220kV line Nhon Trach 3 Power Plant - My Xuan - Cat Lai branch;

+ The 110kV four-circuit transmission line is connected to the Long Thanh - Nhon Trach 5 transmission line and the Long Thanh - Hyosung transmission line to the 220kV station of Nhon Trach Industrial Park; the 110kV transmission line from the road to the 220kV An Phuoc station and the 110kV branch line connecting to the 110kV transformer station of the High-tech Park, the section passing through the administrative boundary of Nhon Trach district.

At the same time, adjust the planning location of the 220kV transformer station in Nhon Trach Industrial Park and connect from Phuoc Thien commune to Phu Hoi commune.

Adjusting land function in the port logistics service subdivision and Phuoc An port to industrial land

The Decision also adjusts the functions of mixed-use land, regional trade and services, park trees, isolation trees, and part of the port and port logistics service functions into industrial land functions.

Specifically, the adjusted location is at the port logistics service subdivision and Phuoc An port, in Phuoc An commune (determined in the adjusted planning project of the new urban area of ​​Nhon Trach until 2035, with a vision to 2050 according to Decision No. 455/QD-TTg dated March 22, 2016 of the Prime Minister).

Pursuant to Document No. 111/TTg-CN dated January 28, 2021 of the Prime Minister on the Project to supplement the planning of industrial parks in Dong Nai province, adjusting the functions of mixed land, regional trade and services, park trees, isolation trees and part of the port function and port logistics services into industrial land functions; in accordance with the Master Plan of Dong Nai River Basin for the period 2021-2030, vision to 2050, Dong Nai Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, vision to 2050 and regulations on water source protection corridors in the province.

The above adjusted contents are also amended accordingly in Decision No. 455/QD-TTg dated March 22, 2016 of the Prime Minister approving the adjustment of the general planning of Nhon Trach new urban area to 2035, with a vision to 2050.

In addition, amend Point d, Clause 4, Article 1 of Decision No. 455/QD-TTg on the orientation of industrial parks, clusters, ports and port logistics services: "Build a new Phuoc An industrial park with an area suitable to the planning of Dong Nai province for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050; develop Phuoc An port and port logistics service area; develop a port system along Nha Be river with a total area of ​​about 183 hectares."
