Accordingly, Co Thach - Binh Thanh Tourist Area, Tuy Phong District is planned on an area of over 1,036 hectares. This is a tourist area that develops various types of tourism such as tourism, trade, services, residential areas, etc., contributing to creating a driving force for socio-economic development for the coastal area of Co Thach - Binh Thanh, Tuy Phong District.
The planning area has a coastline of about 17 km, a gentle beach, fine sand, clean and pristine. With its geographical location in Binh Thanh commune, between Lien Huong town and Chi Cong commune, it is the driving force for the development of the marine economy of Tuy Phong district, the center of the coastal tourist route of Phan Thiet - Nha Trang.
On the beach, which still has a wild and rustic look, there are many shimmering, colorful rocks of different sizes, naturally stacked on top of each other and formed long ago (also known as Ca Duoc beach or Seven-color rock beach). Every year, in mid-March, the entire rock beach turns green because of the green moss, then returns to its original, extremely magical multi-colored state, creating a unique and special space, typical of the sea here. Surrounding this rock beach is a smooth golden sand beach called Bai Tien.
The planning area also has famous places such as: Co Thach Pagoda, Ong Nam Hai Tomb, Binh An Temple, temples with strong indigenous cultural elements, local fishing villages... which attract tourists to visit and experience.
Co Thach - Binh Thanh tourist area is the most important tourist destination in the entire system of tourist destinations in Tuy Phong district, which needs to be invested in and exploited effectively, combined with reasonable preservation and protection.
