VOVedu received 20 social security gifts from Vietcombank

Implementing the national target program on sustainable poverty reduction, responding to the movement "the whole country joins hands for the poor - leaving no one behind", the Trade Union of Vietcombank, Ha Thanh branch, launched the program "Vietcombank joins hands for the poor" on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2024.

With the goal of moving towards a green bank and sustainable development for the community, Vietcombank's social security activities are constantly promoted with many practical and meaningful programs, implemented on a large scale, contributing to the common development of the community and society.

Vietcombank Ha Thanh presented 20 gifts to students in difficult circumstances who excelled in their studies.

At the first semester closing ceremony of the 2023-2024 school year of the College of Radio and Television I, the bank presented 20 gifts with a total value of 10 million VND to 20 students in difficult circumstances.

At the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Thu, Deputy Head of Customer Service Department said: "This is a social security program "Vietcombank joins hands for the poor" demonstrating the tradition of mutual love with profound humanitarian meaning and is also an activity to further strengthen the relationship between the bank and the school".

Ms. Thu is proud to show her affection and responsibility for the future generations of the country, creating an image of Vietcombank that is close and knows how to share with the community.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, Vice Principal of the school shared: "These are meaningful gifts for students in difficult circumstances, contributing to encouraging their spirit and creating motivation for them to strive to overcome difficulties and achieve high academic achievements."

The school board and Vietcombank Ha Thanh staff hope to continue to have more bonding activities.

Mr. Hung also hopes that in the coming time, the school and Vietcombank Ha Thanh branch will have more cohesive activities, joining hands to build an increasingly beautiful and humane society.
