Vinh Phuc: removing obstacles, speeding up the implementation of many key projects

Recently, Chairman of Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee Tran Duy Dong inspected two projects: Vinh Yen City's amusement park and Vinh Yen City's stadium. These are two important projects to serve the entertainment needs of the people, while enriching and beautifying the urban landscape.

The leaders of Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee requested Vinh Yen City to quickly complete the site clearance for the remaining part of the project; complete construction, handover, and put the project into operation in October 2025, in time to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term. In the coming time, when the projects are put into use, the locality must focus on regular maintenance to avoid damage and waste.

At the railway parallel road project, the northern route, from National Highway 2C to Hop Thinh - Dao Tu road, according to the investor's report, the project encountered difficulties and obstacles in the process of implementing compensation and site clearance.

The above difficulties have affected the construction progress, and consequently the disbursement progress of public investment capital. Currently, the contractor has completed 3.6/4.1km of the roadbed and road surface of the main route and 0.6/0.9km of the roadbed of the branch route.

In order to resolve difficulties and obstacles in this project, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Duy Dong requested the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board and related localities to immediately coordinate to review documents; develop a plan to completely resolve the obstacles to quickly hand over the site to the contractor to speed up the project's construction progress, striving to carry out technical traffic by August 31.

For the Hanoi - Lao Cai railway parallel project (North - South route), the section from Hop Thinh - Dao Tu road to DT.304 Vinh Tuong district, the investor, the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects of Civil and Industrial Works of Vinh Phuc province, is also facing difficulties in determining the origin of the compensation land, as well as site clearance.

After conducting a field inspection, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Duy Dong assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to coordinate with Vinh Tuong district to clearly identify the land origin for the remaining area, develop a plan for site clearance, and implement construction as soon as possible, striving to complete before August 31.

Relevant departments, branches and localities are responsible for regularly grasping information and progress of project implementation, reporting to Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee on difficulties and problems for timely direction and resolution.

 

In the period of 2021 - 2025, Vinh Phuc province has allocated more than 4,000 billion VND for transport infrastructure projects managed by the province. Of which, in 2021, more than 1,500 billion VND was allocated, the disbursement rate reached 99% of the total allocated capital; in 2022, more than 1,000 billion VND was allocated, the disbursement rate reached more than 98%; in 2023, more than 1,600 billion VND was allocated, the disbursement rate reached nearly 100%;

In 2024, nearly 1,400 billion VND will be allocated for 7 projects in the field of social infrastructure and 9 projects in the field of traffic infrastructure such as: traffic infrastructure roads connecting the capital region in the province; project to expand the central axis road of Me Linh New Urban Area; project to parallel the Hanoi - Lao Cai railway, the section from Hop Thinh - Dao Tu road to DT.304 extension...
