Hanoi requires 'green channel' to build 2 social housing projects in Dong Anh district

(CLO) The Hanoi People's Committee has just requested the Department of Construction, the Department of Finance, the People's Committee of Dong Anh district and related units to focus on speeding up progress and implementing procedures according to the "green channel" to shorten the processing time for the social housing construction investment project Tien Duong 1 and Tien Duong 2, Dong Anh district.

Also under the direction of the Hanoi People's Committee, the Hanoi Department of Construction and the Hanoi Department of Finance are responsible for coordinating and developing a plan to complete the selection of investors by May 15 at the latest. On that basis, the Department of Construction is responsible for guiding and urging investors to promptly complete the project preparation, design implementation, and strive to start construction in September.

Dong Anh and Gia Lam districts use district-level budgets to carry out detailed planning at a scale of 1/500, to be completed before July 1.

After the detailed planning, scale 1/500 is approved, the Department of Construction will advise the City People's Committee on the next procedures and processes to implement the project.

These are positive signals for the low-cost housing market in Hanoi after a long period of time without any additional social housing projects being implemented in the capital.

According to the project to develop 1 million social housing units by 2030, Hanoi has the highest social housing development target in the country with 56,200 units. This year, the Prime Minister assigned Hanoi to complete 4,670 social housing units.
