At the meeting, the two sides agreed that in the context of the positive development of Vietnam-China relations, substantive cooperation between ministries and sectors of the two sides. In particular, cooperation in the judicial and law enforcement fields has been continuously strengthened and deepened, contributing to enhancing political trust, effectively contributing to the innovation and development of the two countries, and further consolidating the trust of social classes and people in the leadership of the Party and the implementation of legal policies of the State in each country.
The two sides also affirmed the importance of continuing to promote the role of bilateral cooperation mechanisms on justice and law enforcement, contributing to creating a solid legal foundation for bilateral relations, promoting stable, healthy and sustainable development of bilateral relations in the coming time.
Ambassador Pham Thanh Binh said that Vietnam attaches importance to and wishes to exchange experiences with China on the practice of reforming the judicial system, building a rule-of-law state, improving the effectiveness of judicial administrative management and applying information technology in law enforcement... The Vietnamese Ambassador to China suggested that the two sides continue to promote cooperation in areas such as judicial assistance in civil and criminal matters, training of judicial officials, and management of lawyers and notaries.
For his part, Minister Ha Vinh introduced the main functions and tasks of the Chinese Ministry of Justice and the process of building a socialist rule of law state with Chinese characteristics, emphasizing that China attaches importance to cooperation with Vietnam in the fields of justice and law enforcement, and is willing to share experiences in legal reform, state governance under the rule of law, and application of information technology in the legal field to ensure the maintenance of public order and social stability.
At the same time, Minister Ha Vinh also suggested that the two sides strengthen close coordination, create favorable conditions for citizens of the two countries in legal issues, contributing to consolidating a solid social foundation for bilateral relations.
The two sides agreed to continue to effectively implement the signed judicial and law enforcement cooperation agreements, and at the same time study and expand cooperation in areas suitable to the practical needs of the two countries, making substantial contributions to consolidating the positive and stable development momentum of the Vietnam-China comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership.
