The quarantine certificate form for exporting monkeys from Vietnam to China has been announced by the General Administration of Customs of China. Accordingly, Vietnamese enterprises are allowed to register to export monkeys to China.
On July 31, the Department of Animal Health (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development) said that the General Department of Customs of China has sent a document to the Department of Animal Health agreeing with the quarantine certificate form for exporting monkeys from Vietnam to China.

Accordingly, from July 29, Vietnamese enterprises wishing to export monkeys to China can learn about the protocol signed between the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the General Administration of Customs of China. Then, register with the Department of Animal Health to synthesize, confirm and send to the General Administration of Customs of China for consideration. Previously, on June 6, during the visit and work in Vietnam of Deputy Director General of the General Administration of Customs of China Zhao Zenglian, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the General Administration of Customs of China signed a Protocol on animal quarantine requirements for monkeys exported from Vietnam to China. According to the protocol, China requires quarantine for long-tailed monkeys exported from Vietnam to this country. This is the result of the efforts of the Department of Animal Health after many years of negotiations with Chinese authorities and with the active support of the Vietnamese Embassy in China and the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam. After the protocol was signed, the Department of Animal Health continued to work with the General Administration of Customs of China to unify the content of the quarantine certificate form for exporting monkeys from Vietnam to China. Talking to Thanh Nien , a leader working at the Department of Animal Health said that Vietnamese long-tailed monkeys are exported to China for the purpose of scientific research and vaccine production.
