Vertiv Launches Pre-Assembled Modular Data Center Solution, Accelerating Global AI Computing Deployment

The Vertiv MegaMod CoolChip solution integrates leading technologies, including high-density liquid cooling, to deliver critical digital infrastructure for AI in a packaged manner 50% faster than on-site assembly.

Vertiv (NYSE: VRT), a global provider of digital infrastructure and management solutions, has launched the Vertiv MegaMod CoolChip, a liquid-cooled prefabricated modular (PFM) data center solution designed to support efficient and reliable AI computing. The solution can be configured to support leading AI computing vendor platforms and scaled to customer requirements.

By combining the quality and process efficiency of off-site manufacturing with leading AI-enabled technologies, MegaMod CoolChip can reduce the time to deploy critical digital infrastructure for AI by up to 50%.

The Vertiv MegaMod CoolChip solution can also support the sustainability goals of data center operators and developers. By utilizing advanced, high-efficiency technologies such as direct-to-chip liquid cooling and Vertiv™ power infrastructure, MegaMod CoolChip data centers can improve Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) compared to data centers using traditional technology, resulting in a reduced carbon footprint.
