Construction of Red Cross houses for poor households begins

Mr. Khong Tan Thanh, Chairman of the Red Cross Association of Co Do district, presented the money to support house construction to Mr. Cao Van Hop.

Mr. Cao Van Hop's family is in difficult housing situation, the couple is old and past working age. The house has an area of ^​​64m2 , worth 70 million VND, of which the staff, members, and volunteers of the Red Cross Association mobilized benefactors to contribute 50 million VND, the rest is contributed by the family. The house is expected to be completed and put into use in April 2025.

Mr. Khong Tan Thanh, Chairman of the Red Cross Association of Co Do district, said that since the beginning of the year, the Red Cross Association of the district has repaired 2 houses for poor households; at the same time, built 2 new Red Cross houses for households with housing difficulties in the district, each house worth 50 million VND, of which Can Tho Lottery One Member Co., Ltd. supported 1 house, and the other house was mobilized by the Red Cross Association from benefactors to help people have new, spacious houses and stabilize their lives.
