During the Tet peak season, airfares for many routes have increased dramatically, and tickets are scarce. Many people are looking to buy train tickets, but it is not easy because the prices are high and many trips are sold out.

According to the Civil Aviation Authority, some domestic flights during the Lunar New Year have achieved a 100% booking rate from Ho Chi Minh City to the Northern and Central provinces, while the return flight before Tet was low, even below 10%.

In the opposite direction from provinces and cities to Ho Chi Minh City, the booking rate on flights is mostly between 15-30%.
During the final period of the holiday (from February 1 to February 7, 2025), the booking rate for flights from the local area back to Ho Chi Minh City was high, showing the characteristics of air transport activities as every year.
Some days are full with rates of over 90% to 100% such as from Pleiku, Tuy Hoa, Thanh Hoa, Quy Nhon, Chu Lai Dong Hoi, Ban Me Thuot to Ho Chi Minh City.
