(Dan Tri) - Transgender beauty Alex Consani made history when she was named Model of the Year at the 2024 British Fashion Awards. Alex is 1.8m tall and has unique bleached eyebrows.
At the 2024 British Fashion Awards in London (UK) on December 3, Alex Consani appeared gracefully in a dress by the brand Dilara Findikoglu to receive the Model of the Year award. Notably, Alex is the first transgender woman to be nominated and win in the Model of the Year category.
Standing on stage, Alex choked up and said: "I am grateful to the black transgender women who have fought for equality in this industry, namely Dominique Jackson, Connie Fleming, Aaron Rose Phillips. I am grateful to my parents for supporting and encouraging other parents who have children like me."

The 21-year-old model and TikTok star insists that she could not have achieved her current success without the guidance and support of those who have come before her. "Change is not only possible, it is necessary in today's society," she added.
On her personal page, the transgender beauty shared the moment she held the trophy and wrote: "I want to scream, I just won Model of the Year". Many colleagues sent congratulations to Alex's new success.
Last October, Alex was also honored to become a rare transgender model invited to perform in the show of the famous lingerie brand Victoria's Secret.
In a conversation with Teen Vogue, the transgender beauty also proudly said: "There are many things that transgender people or models of color can do. I don't see models receiving the same support. It's sad. Where are the Asian models? Where are the models of color? I believe that the fashion industry needs to change old concepts."

Alex Consani (21 years old) grew up in California, USA. According to Cosmopolitan, she started liking to wear women's clothes since she was 4 years old. At the age of eight, Consani took the name Alex and underwent hormone replacement therapy during puberty.
After learning about Slay Model Management, Alex's mother decided to let her daughter model. Consani became the world's youngest transgender model at the age of 12.
Standing at 1.8m tall and measuring 83-62-84cm, Alex quickly became famous. Experts say that Alex's modern and individual beauty is a challenge to traditional aesthetic standards.
Alex signed with IMG Models in August 2019 and pursued professional modeling at the age of 16.
In 2021, the beauty attended Pace University and performed in Tom Ford's show. The transgender beauty has performed for many famous brands such as: Chanel, Alexander McQueen, Versace, Burberry.
