Uyen Linh wishes to make her name in Vietnamese music history.

On the afternoon of September 12, singer Uyen Linh met with the media to introduce the live concert The Vocalist , a project she has been nurturing for the past year.

The concert will take place at Hoa Binh Theater, Ho Chi Minh City on the evening of November 9. Uyen Linh was inspired by the transparent and durable crystal block with a passion for music.

Put on a concert without selling your house

Naming the show "The Vocalist", Uyen Linh wants to focus on her singing aspect. Her singing voice is what many audiences have known and loved since Vietnam Idol 2010 and throughout her career.

Uyen Linh invited Ha Anh Tuan and Quoc Thien to be guest singers in the music night.

Quoc Thien is a close friend who has been with her through many ups and downs in life, and Ha Anh Tuan is a classmate who always loves and respects her.

Uyen Linh received a question about what special tricks the concert will have besides singing, such as singer Trung Quan - another "vocalist" who once pole danced in his concert.

"I can't follow Trung Quan and pole dance" - Uyen Linh said.

She also said that she did not have to sell her house to hold a concert like Trung Quan. Thanks to her low spending and shopping habits, she always has her own money to reinvest in her work.

"My schedule this year is 6 months without accepting shows, only accepting a few events each month to cover expenses.

I spend time at home learning to sing, practicing music, going to the gym, meditating, and relaxing. For example, next year I will learn pole dancing, silk yoga... This time in the live show I will dance, just a little, so everyone knows how bad I am at dancing" - Uyen Linh shared.

The biggest project of my career

Talking about the concert, Uyen Linh said she always wanted to make her name in the history of Vietnamese music from 2010 to 2030. Even though it was just a short period and her contribution was small, she still kept learning and improving.

Singers are aware that everyone needs to develop and progress to keep up with the market flow.

She hopes she can contribute to building a unique singing school that can last over time.

The Vocalist is the biggest project in Uyen Linh's nearly 15-year career. As the champion of Vietnam Idol 2010 with a soulful voice, she is loved by many audiences and recognized by experts.

In recent years, Uyen Linh has not been very active, but with just enough frequency, she still has breakthroughs.

These are the album Portrait in 2017; the live show Uyen Linh and Lan Nha - It's Not by Chance in 2019; Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring Again in 2021; the show Mask Singer in 2022; The Beautiful Sister Riding the Wind and Breaking the Waves in 2023...

The Vocalist concert has a total of 10 ticket categories with prices ranging from 1 million to 5.2 million VND. The name of each ticket category is based on a level of love, such as: Honeymoon, Sublimation, Happiness, Passion, Romance, Dream...

With this music night, Uyen Linh still sticks to the music genre she pursues, which is pop ballad.
