U22 Vietnam match schedule at CFA Team China 2025
The Vietnam U22 team arrived in Jiangsu (China) on March 17 to prepare for the annual international friendly tournament CFA Team China 2025.
The players are staying at the Gangfu Junlan Grand Hotel along with the Uzbekistan and South Korean teams. The weather in Yancheng is forecast to warm up, with temperatures ranging from 10°C to 23°C. The coaching staff has planned for the team to adapt quickly.
With careful preparation, Head Coach Dinh Hong Vinh and his team are determined in the tournament, aiming for the best performance against strong opponents.
According to plan, U22 Vietnam will have its first training session at 4:00 p.m. on March 18 to prepare for the opening match against U22 Korea at 2:30 p.m. (Vietnam time) on March 20 at the Yancheng Olympic Sports Center Stadium.
Acting head coach Dinh Hong Vinh brought 25 players to the tournament. Apart from Dinh Bac who was injured and goalkeeper Trung Kien who joined the national team, U22 Vietnam still ensured the strongest squad.
Notable are the two overseas Vietnamese players Viktor Le and Andrej An Khanh. They have integrated well with their teammates and have had stable performances recently.
Before the tournament, coach Dinh Hong Vinh shared: "This is still a training session to test personnel, so U22 Vietnam will try to show itself at the CFA Team China tournament.
Through the players' performances, the coaching staff will evaluate and select good players for the next training sessions. The destination of U22 Vietnam is the 2026 U23 Asian qualifiers and the 33rd SEA Games taking place at the end of the year."
