Secretary of Long Xuyen City Youth Union Nguyen Khanh Hoang said: “With the theme “Long Xuyen Youth is proud to firmly believe in the Party” taking place throughout March, Youth Month 2025, Youth Union chapters at all levels in the city focus on organizing activities to care for union members, youth, association members and children, contributing to protecting the legitimate rights and interests of youth. This is also an opportunity for the city's Youth Union to demonstrate its role and spirit of volunteerism, contributing its youth to the local socio-economic development process”.

In Youth Month 2025, Long Xuyen City Youth Union organized 4 youth projects, 9 key city-level activities and thousands of youth projects and tasks from the grassroots level, with a total benefit value of over 400 million VND. Identifying the support for eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses as a particularly important political task with profound humanitarian significance, as one of the youth projects to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels (term 2025 - 2030), the Standing Committee of Long Xuyen City Youth Union has awarded funding to support the construction of houses under the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses to the Party Committee and People's Committee of My Binh Ward to build houses for households with housing difficulties in the area. At the same time, calling on young union members to join hands, respond and take practical and specific actions, forming new models and good practices to soon complete the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the city with Party committees, authorities and organizations.

Promoting the spirit of responsibility and the tradition of "mutual love", Long Xuyen City Youth Union focuses on mobilizing resources to implement meaningful projects and tasks, such as: Joining hands to eliminate temporary houses, dilapidated houses, the "March Border" program, the red address journey, taking care of policy families, former youth volunteers, families in difficult circumstances and giving bicycles, scholarships, school supplies, and study roots to students... Long Xuyen youth are proactive in volunteer movements for community life. Projects such as: "Lighting up the countryside roads", building rural traffic bridges, repairing and building houses, helping people in difficult circumstances... The green volunteer shirt is also indispensable in environmental protection activities, such as: Planting trees, cleaning, and raising community awareness.

At the launching ceremony of Youth Month 2025, the gifts handed out were not only packages of noodles, kilos of rice, bottles of cooking oil, packets of spices... but also the whole heart, the warm sharing of Long Xuyen youth with families in difficult circumstances. In the eyes of the poor people, joy and emotion shone. There were trembling hands receiving them, gentle smiles on their lips and choked emotions. This gift helps my family to have less worry about meals" - Ms. Dang Thi Tot (residing in Dong Thinh 5 hamlet, My Phuoc ward) choked up.

The round eyes of little boy Le Thien Bach (class 7A4, Bui Huu Nghia Secondary School) sparkled when he saw the brand new bicycle neatly arranged and ready to be given to him. His small hands trembled as he touched the brand new saddle, a bright smile appeared on his lips, Thien Bach could not believe his eyes, this was the gift he had been dreaming of for so long. In the past, Bach had to walk to school, the long distance made him tired, especially when the sun was hot. When he received the bicycle from Long Xuyen City Youth Union, supported by BioChem Viet A Trading Company Limited, An Giang branch, Bach's dream came true. The bicycle helps Bach get to school quickly and is a companion, helping him explore familiar roads. "I am extremely grateful to the benefactor who gave me this meaningful gift. I promise to study hard, not to disappoint everyone's expectations" - little boy Le Thien Bach expressed.
